Three contract caterers have clinched deals worth a combined total of more than £3m in annual turnover.
BaxterSmith has won two contracts worth £200,000 and £500,000 a year. The first is a 12-month rolling contract to cater at the 100-seat restaurant in the City of London's Hiscox Art Caf‚. It starts at the end of the month.
And from next month, it will feed 650 staff at Scottish & Newcastle Retail's headquarters in Northampton.
Initial Catering Services has won two deals to provide school meals to children at 42 Reading Borough Council schools and 37 Bracknell Forest Borough Council schools. Each lasts for three years and has a two-year extension option. They start next month and are worth £1m and £1.1m in annual turnover respectively. Initial currently holds the two contracts. It said they were retendered, not renewed.
The third company to have won a contract is Eurest Sutcliffe. It has been awarded a three-year deal, worth more than £350,000 in annual turnover, to provide a range of services at the headquarters of Pipeline Integrity International in Cramlington, Northumbria.
The work was split between four contractors, including Eurest.
