HEALTHIER meals, snacks and drinks at the drop of a coin is the goal with Zest Express! This new vending service fills a significant gap in the vending market by featuring vegetarian, organic and unusual styles of ethnic fare.
The service is the brainchild of George Pirintji and Martin Palmer who have assembled an extensive range of fresh and ambient products including speciality sandwiches and wraps, salads, single portion stir-fry meals, juices and nibbles. The range covers the price spectrum from 35p to £2.90 and typical products include filled organic pitta bread with a roasted vegetable and salsa filling (price £1.90) and fusilli pasta salad with purple sprouting broccoli, olives, anchovies, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic at £2.60.
Zest Express! works purely as an operator, sourcing food products from a number of suppliers and filling and servicing machines on a nightly basis based on individual client specifications. WurlitzerBL chilled merchandisers, with a capacity for 40 different product lines, are used to vend the products.
