Jarvis Hotels, the company that chairman John Jarvis and his team took private last week, has put its 377-bedroom Ramada Plaza Regent's Park hotel in London up for sale with a rumoured £65m price tag.
Following its move to the private sector, Jarvis is conducting a review of all of its assets in a bid to consolidate its position in the hotel market and provide for the expansion of the group.
The hotel, on the west side of Regent's Park overlooking Lords Cricket ground, also has development potential for up to 29 serviced apartments.
Consultants CB Richard Ellis Hotels has been appointed to sell the hotel.
Managing director Derek Gammage said: "The decision to dispose of the hotel presents a significant opportunity for another operator to acquire or manage this substantial hotel in central London."
