Pharmacy, the 108-seat restaurant and bar in London's Notting Hill, has closed after six years.
It is understood that restaurant's owner, Hartford Group, received an offer from its landlord to take back the restaurant that it felt unable to refuse. Marks & Spencer is thought to be lined up to take over the site.
The restaurant was opened in 1997 by artist Damien Hirst and public relations chief Matthew Freud. It joined the AIM stock market a year later.
