Westminster Meals Service (WMS) has won a £500,000-a-year turnover contract to provide meals on wheels in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, west London.
The contract, which starts on 2 November, is for four years, with an option to extend for a further two. Meals on wheels in the borough were formerly provided by rival contractor Castle View.
The contract marks WMS's first win since its takeover by the German-owned Apetito group in March.
WMS also holds welfare meals contracts in the London boroughs of Westminster and Southwark.
Meals to the borough's 400 clients will continue to be delivered hot, although WMS plans to introduce an additional frozen-meal delivery service.
A spokeswoman for the authority said the contract would offer more choice to clients and speed up delivery times for hot meals.
