Aspey joined the Cotswolds-based estate more than 12 years ago as general manager of Dormy House and Foxhill Manor
Tom Aspey has been promoted to chief executive of the Cotswolds-based Farncombe Estate.
Aspey joined Farncombe Estate more than 12 years ago as general manager of Dormy House and Foxhill Manor before being appointed managing director.
Prior to that, he worked at Soho House & Co, as well as the Savoy Group, Lygon Arms in Broadway and Axis restaurant at One Aldwych.
As CEO, he will focus on brand cohesion and bolstering the estate’s commitment to sustainability following its B Corp certification in October 2025.
Aspey said: “I’m so proud to step up as CEO at Farncombe, having spent a year as managing director. I plan to continue supporting our estate as a whole and overseeing the diverse functions across the estate as we continue to grow and develop.
“This past year, one of our proudest achievements has been securing B Corp accreditation, and celebrating the positive changes we have made across operations and within our senior team. 2025 also saw very strong performance across the year, reflecting the dedication of everyone at Farncombe and the strength of our values.
“As we move through 2026, I am focused on working with the team to build on this momentum, ensuring we continue to grow through responsible stewardship of the estate and a clear commitment to our people.”
The Farncombe Estate is spread across 500 acres of Cotswolds countryside and encompasses Dormy House, the Fish hotel, Foxhill Manor and the Hillside Hangouts.
