Kudos relaunches with three new senior appointments
The Crown Group's food and venue business Kudos has announced the launch of a more food-based proposition with three new appointments to its senior management team.
The company, which will now simply be known as Kudos rather than Kudos Hospitality, has named Michelin-starred chef Daniel Clifford as creative director; celebrity chef Frank Bordoni as food director; and Mary Griffith as sales director.
Clifford, chef-patron of the two-Michelin starred Midsummer House in Cambridge (also part of Crown Group), will work with Bordoni and other Kudos chefs on menu development, while Bordoni will assume responsibility for all craft development programmes at Kudos.
Griffith joins with extensive experience of sales and marketing, gathered over 20 years working at venues such as the Historic Royal Palaces in London, Leeds Castle and Blenheim Palace.
Jon Pryce, managing director at Kudos, said: "We believe that progressive companies will continue to invest in their businesses despite the current financial climate.
"We know what we are good at and have spent a lot of time, and investment, to ensure that we are in a better position to continue sharing this with the wider industry."
