Lindley Heritage wins £2m River & Rowing Museum deal

Lindley Heritage has won a £2m catering and hospitality contract with the River & Rowing Museum in Henley.

The seven-year deal is the second museum win for the heritage, arts, leisure and venue division of Lindley Group following its appointment to cater at the RAF Museum in North London this summer.

The independently funded River & Rowing Museum attracts around 117,000 visitors a year and features a dedicated education centre that receives 20,000 education visitors a year.

The venue also offers hospitality services for events, weddings, and corporate and private functions.

Paul Mainds, chief executive at the museum, said: "We have been impressed with the Lindley team's attention to detail and how they are attuned to local touches which make each venue different and special, and then tailor the offering accordingly.

"The step changes they are making will significantly enhance the experience of everyone who visits the museum."
