Marcus Magee becomes general manager of the Hilton Liverpool

Marcus Magee has been appointed as the general manager of Hilton Liverpool which is due to open this autumn.

Magee, who has more than 20 years' hotel management experience mostly gained at Hilton Hotels, is overseeing preparations for the Liverpool hotel's opening and appointing the operations team which will manage the 200-strong workforce.

His first role with Hilton was as deputy manager for the Hilton in Leicester, and he has since managed other Hilton hotels including Bromsgrove, Newport and Puckrup Hall in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

His most recent position was as area manager for the Aberdeen and Craigendarroch, Ballater, Aberdeen-shire, hotels.
