3663 Extends TGI Friday's Contract

Foodservice supplier 3663 has extended its contract with restaurant chain TGI Fridays for a further five years in an agreement worth an estimated £150 million.

3663 will now provide all food, non-food, wines, beers and spirits for the group's UK sites for the next five years in a deal valued at £30 million a year.

Alyson Scott, head of supply chain at T.G.I. Friday's UK, said: "Over the last three years, the service levels provided by 3663 have always been well above 99 per cent - and that's why we chose to move all our food and drink needs to them."

3663's environmental initiatives - which include recycling waste cooking oil - were also partially responsible for the move. Scott added: "T.G.I. Friday's strives to treat the environment with the same respect we show our guests and it's great to work with a business partner that has the same ethos."

Paul Smith, sales manager at 3663, said: "We're thrilled to have extended this significant contract."
