Messaging app Yapster free for companies with more than 100 furloughed workers

Yapster has announced that companies with more than 100 furloughed employees will be able to use its messaging app for free.

The service will remain free until restrictions are relaxed and businesses can commence trading again, to allow teams to stay connected.

Chief executive Rob Liddiard, said: "We met the wage support package announcement with the same relief expressed across the sector.

"We have been inspired by the leadership, resilience and generosity being shown by so many people in the industry we love. So we're following chancellor Rishi Sunak's lead and doing our part to help operators keep their teams together in these impossibly tough times."
