Allen was previously chief financial officer at Starbucks EMEA
Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global has appointed Nick Allen as its chief financial officer.
He joins the restaurant group with more than 20 years’ experience in retail and hospitality, most recently as group chief financial officer at Holland & Barrett and CFO at Starbucks EMEA.
His appointment comes after Gordon Ramsay Restaurants delivered UK revenues of £134m and adjusted EBITDA of £12m in FY24.
In 2026, the group plans to expand its portfolio of brands across the UK and internationally, with a particular focus on franchising its QSR concepts in the United States, including Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Street Pizza.
Last year, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants completed a deal with its investment partner Lion Capital to merge its UK and US businesses into one global company headquartered in London.
The chef also signed a partnership with Clermont Hotel Group to open the UK’s first Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at the Cumberland hotel in London’s Marble Arch this spring.
He also backed the launch of Bonheur by Matt Abé in the former Le Gavroche site in Mayfair, which took place last autumn.
Last month, the chef relaunched Plane Food at Heathrow Terminal 5, which dates back to 2008, into Gordon Ramsay Plane Food Market.
The new concept offers a selection of QSR brands from the restaurant group’s international portfolio, including Lucky Cat, Street Pizza and Street Burger, served in a market-style.
Andy Wenlock, chief executive of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global, said: “I am delighted to welcome Nick to the team and in particular the business entering a new phase of growth in the UK and internationally, driving forward our strategy to expand our footprint among multiple markets, across all our diverse brands.”
Allen added: “I’m excited to join such a prestigious global brand with an incredible world class offering and to work closely with Andy and the senior leadership team in building out the group’s vision.”
Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global was founded in 1998 and comprises the restaurant business of chef, restaurateur, TV personality, and author Gordon Ramsay.
