Two-Michelin-starred Bruno Barbieri to open London restaurant

Two-Michelin-starred Italian chef Bruno Barbieri is set to come to London, Caterer and Hotelkeeper has learnt.

 

The former Relais & Château Grand chef, who ran the Arquade restaurant at the Hotel Villa del Quar in Verona for ten years, will launch the new restaurant in Marylebone in March.

 

It will be housed on the current site of Cafe Luc on Marylebone High Street but no further details have yet been announced.

 

In the 1980s Barbieri was executive chef at Il Trigabolo in Argenta, one of the most innovative restaurants in Italy, where he gained two Michelin stars. He took over the Arquade restaurant in 2000, where he also held two stars.
