Petit will continue to work closely with chef patron Jean-Philippe Blondet
Stéphane Petit has been appointed executive chef at the three-Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester in London’s Mayfair.
Over the past year, Petit has been working closely with chef patron Jean-Philippe Blondet. The pair will continue to collaborate to serve contemporary French haute cuisine.
Petit was based at the Ducasse Paris group for more than a decade and has worked at the likes of Cucina by Alain Ducasse in Saint-Tropez, Muni Alain Ducasse in Tokyo and Mix Dubai in Dubai.
He first met Alain Ducasse in 2016 at Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse Monaco.
Petit said: “I am honoured to step into this role and continue working alongside Jean-Philippe and our exceptional team. Alain Ducasse’s vision has been a guiding force throughout my career, and I look forward to building on this legacy with passion and commitment.”
Front of house continues to be led by restaurant director Marion Pepin, who joined the Ducasse group at Le Meurice in Paris.
Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester opened in late 2007 and was awarded three Michelin stars in 2010.
