Edward Dutton will oversee the pub kitchen with support from newly appointed sous chef Rob Mason

The former head chef of Claridge’s Restaurant in London has joined the Killingworth Castle gastropub in the Cotswolds in the same role.
Edward Dutton will oversee the kitchen at the independent pub with support from newly appointed sous chef Rob Mason, who trained at the Cricketers in Clavering with Jamie Oliver’s dad.
Dutton was previously executive chef at Corrigan Collection and executive chef at Swinton Hall in the Yorkshire Dales.
The Killingworth Castle has been run by husband and wife team Jim and Claire Alexander since 2012, who were also behind the Ebrington Arms near Chipping Campden.
The Cotswolds pub dates back to 1637 and is located in the village of Wootton, just outside Woodstock.
It is listed in the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland, holds three-AA-rosettes and also features eight bedrooms.
