The London-based hotel group said the partnership would offer more opportunities for “elevated” dining
Clermont Hotel Group has entered a “strategic partnership” with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global.
The exact terms of the partnership are not clear, though the London-based hotel group said the chef’s involvement would offer more opportunities for immersive dining at its properties.
Site-specific restaurant announcements are expected over the coming weeks.
Gavin Taylor, chief executive of Clermont Hotel Group, said: “This partnership represents a significant and exciting step for Clermont Hotel Group with a collaboration that enhances our guest journey with gastronomic experiences that feel both elevated and exclusive.”
Andy Wenlock, chief executive of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global, added: “This partnership marks a powerful full-circle moment for us. While we’ve built extraordinary success on a global stage, our story began here in the UK, and there’s something meaningful about returning to our roots. Collaborating with Clermont Hotel Group not only honours where the journey started, but also fuels our commitment to the same ambition, innovation and excellence that continues to define Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global today.”
Earlier this month, Ramsay teamed up with Burger King to launch an £11 wagyu beef burger across its UK restaurants.
Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global was founded in 1998 and has since become one of the largest privately-owned restaurant groups in the UK, with 34 restaurants.
It also operates a further 62 restaurants across the US, South Korea, France, Singapore and numerous other international destinations. To date, the restaurant group holds eight Michelin stars.
Clermont Hotel Group has a portfolio of 14 hotels across London, including the Cumberland and Royal Horseguards hotel, as well as the Clermont and Thistle brands.
