The Newt in Somerset to open the Farmyard

The Newt in Somerset is set to open the Farmyard this summer, transforming a renovated former dairy farm on the estate into self-contained farmstead accommodation.

The Farmyard will have 17 bedrooms, a separate swimming pool and dining facilities, all of which will only be accessible to residents.

The new opening will be separate from the main, 23-bedroom hotel (pictured), which opened in August 2019 within the 17th-century, Grade II*-listed Hadspen House and stable yard buildings, overseen by general manager Andrew Foulkes.

The estate is owned by South African businessman Koos Bekker and former Elle Decoration South Africa editor Karen Roos, who own Babylonstoren.
