Payne and Gunter wins back Stationers' Hall contract

Payne and Gunter has regained the resident catering contract for Stationers' Hall in London after losing it to Kudos Venue Management in 2007.

The new three-year contract for the livery hall by St Paul's cathedral is worth more than £700,000 a year to the caterers.

Matthew Thompson, managing director for Payne and Gunter's parent company Compass , said: "During our time as an approved caterer at Stationers' Hall, we demonstrated and continually proved the high quality and flair that Payne and Gunter can bring to an event."

He added: "We are absolutely thrilled that we will be working more closely with Stationers' Hall, as the resident caterer."

Denzil Sharp, clerk to the Stationers Company said: "Stationers' Hall is a fantastic venue for events in the city and we are looking forward to workign again with Payne and Gunter as resident caterer."
