The pub is described as “a relaxed yet refined dining and drinking destination”
Grantley Hall hotel in North Yorkshire is set to open its own country pub this summer.
A post on the hotel’s Instagram said the Grantley Arms would launch in the village of Grantley, just a short walk from the five-AA-star rural hotel.
The pub will not have overnight bedrooms but will offer both food and drink once it opens.
Gavin Swift, current senior sous chef at Grantley Hall, will lead the kitchen as chef patron with a menu offering a twist on classic pub favourites.
“We are excited to share that this summer, we will be opening our very own local country pub – a relaxed yet refined dining and drinking destination in the heart of Grantley village,” the post read.
“Designed with warmth and familiarity in mind, guests can look forward to hearty, seasonal Yorkshire dishes made from local produce, served in a beautifully renovated, classic country setting just a short walk from Grantley Hall.
“We cannot wait to welcome you, your children and your furry friends to experience our friendly Yorkshire hospitality and celebration of regional flavours at Grantley Arms.”
Richard Sykes, managing director at Grantley Hall, said the pub was a "proud new chapter" for the hotel.
"Whether it’s a leisurely lunch before check-in or a relaxed farewell meal after a stay, we see the pub as a natural extension of the Grantley experience – a place where quality, comfort and Yorkshire charm come together," he added.
Grantley Hall features 47 bedrooms, three bars and five restaurants, including Michelin-starred Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall, which won Hotel Restaurant Chef of the Year at the 2024 Hotel Cateys.
It was awarded two Michelin keys, a three-tier award designed as the hotel equivalent to Michelin stars, in the inaugural Great Britain and Ireland selection last year.
The hotel has been overseen by general manager Nuno César de Sá since 2023.
