The hotel has won multiple awards during his tenure, including a Catey and a Hotel Catey

Kevin Brooke has left his role as general manager at Heckfield Place hotel in Hampshire after more than three years.
The hotelier announced his departure on LinkedIn this week. He has not revealed the reason for his move or details of any future plans but said he was “immensely proud” of his time at the property.
Brooke told The Caterer: "It was certainly a wrench to leave Heckfield, and I will especially miss working with the wonderful team there. I’m proud of what we have achieved together and pleased that I leave it in a very good place - with a strong, happy team, a robust P&L, outstanding guest feedback, multiple industry awards, and many exciting projects completed. I will always cherish my time there."
Brooke joined the 45-room Heckfield Place in 2022 and oversaw the launch of its Bothy spa.
The hotel has won multiple industry awards during his tenure, including the Sustainable Hotel of the Year at the 2022 Hotel Cateys and Hotel of the Year – Independent at the 2024 Cateys.
Heckfield Place was also awarded two Michelin keys, the hotel equivalent of Michelin stars, during the inaugural Great Britain and Ireland selection last year.
