Prada joins chef talent including Pierre Minotti and Craig Johnston at Evolv Collection as it pursues further Michelin recognition
Former Humo chef Miller Prada has joined Evolv Collection as group culinary consultant, charged with leading the culinary direction across the group.
Prada, who earned a Michelin star for Humo in London before leaving the restaurant early last year, is already credited with bringing Pierre Minotti to the group to head up Orrery.
He will become part of a trio of talent at Evolv, with Prada also working with Angler head chef Craig Johnston who retained the restaurant’s Michelin star for the 13th year this month.
Evolv Collection chief executive Martin Williams said: "We have tripled our Michelin talent. Craig Johnston has proven year after year that Michelin-level consistency is achievable and sustainable at The Evolv Collection.
"Adding Miller Prada as our group culinary consultant and securing two-Michelin-starred Pierre Minotti for Orrery represents a step-change in our culinary ambition. These three chefs, each extraordinary in their own right, represent exactly where we are taking this group."
Prada added: "Joining the Evolv Collection at such a pivotal moment is a true honour. I’m excited to help shape the next chapter of a group built on the Conran legacy and a portfolio of iconic London restaurants, and I look forward to bringing my own creative vision to continue that tradition of excellence. My focus will be on delivering meaningful creative impact that supports the Collection’s evolution and future direction."
Prada’s career has included spells at Pollen Street Social, the Ledbury and Endo at Rotunda where he rose to head chef before launching Humo London.
Earlier this month Evolv Collection announced it had recruited Pierre Minotti, formerly executive chef at Alex Dilling at Hotel Café Royal, to head up Orrery as the restaurant ‘pursues Michelin recognition’.
