The facilities services and management company also has the option to extend the contract to seven years
Facilities services and management company OCS has secured a contract extension with Eurotunnel.
The partnership has been extended for a further five years, with the option to raise this to seven, and was secured following a bid process involving eight competitors.
Under the contract, OCS provides daily catering services across Eurotunnel locations, including off-site catering for external events and meetings.
The team expanded its vending services to boost operational efficiency and introduced a pre-order app that allows colleagues to order meals in advance.
OCS UK and Ireland’s chef director for catering, Chris Ince, also hosted themed concepts, including a ‘Ruby Railway’ pop-up, and introduced carbon-conscious menus in partnership with Eurotunnel’s ESG team.
Giles Davies, operations manager – catering, OCS UK and Ireland, said: “We are pleased to continue our partnership with Eurotunnel, delivering innovative catering and vending solutions that meet the evolving needs of their workforce. Our focus on sustainability, operational efficiency, and quality ensures that we provide exceptional value while supporting the local community.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
OCS UK and Ireland is part of OCS Group and operates a team of more than 50,000 colleagues, reporting an annual turnover in excess of £2.2b.
