Rachel Barnes named business development manager at Bennett Hay

Rachel Barnes has been appointed business development manager at foodservice provider Bennett Hay.

She was previously spent almost a decade at Good Eating Company, having studied at the University of Surrey, where she spent a placement year at the Savoy.

In her new role, Barnes will focus on client acquisition in London's corporate community. She will report into Bennett Hay's managing director Zoë Watts and manage a portfolio of existing contracts.

She said: "Bennett Hay's core value of creating a community is so apparent; from my onboarding, the regular updates we receive to the camaraderie everyone at every site exudes. I'm excited at the empowerment and entrepreneurial leeway this new chapter in my career is giving me."

Watts added: "Rachel is a fantastic asset to the company due to her proven abilities, tenacity and engaging personality. She has an incredible foresight on workplace needs and this is balanced with a keen eye for bringing high street trends in to the employee experience. Rachel's fitted in seamlessly as we gear up for a busy period tendering and driving awareness of our flair to create exceptional work environments for London's business community."

Bennett Hay was founded in 2010 and works with a number of offices and estates to offer facilities, catering and guest services.
