Owner Nick Kleiner has revealed plans to open four more London locations this year, amid wider ambitions for 25 sites across the capital over the next five years
Bristol-based sandwich purveyor Sandwich Sandwich has confirmed further details of its second London store, which is launching next week.
Plans for the 3,500 sq ft site were first announced in November last year.
The Mark Lane site is also located in the City of London and comes six months after the brand made its London debut in a space formerly occupied by salad chain Tossed.
Family-run business Sandwich Sandwich was founded by Nick Kleiner, a self-taught chef, in 2010 on Cotham Road South, Bristol.
In 2012, he rebranded what was then known as Cotham Sandwich Co into Sandwich Sandwich, launching its flagship store on Baldwin Street, Bristol the following year. It was named Uber Eats’ Restaurant of the Year in 2023.
Kleiner has revealed plans to open four more London locations this year, amid wider ambitions for 25 sites across the capital over the next five years.
Josh Kleiner, head of operations and marketing, said: “It’s been a lot of hard work, but I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished. Everything we’ve learned from our six months in London has gone into Mark Lane, and we can’t wait to share this new space with everyone!”
The new store will serve Sandwich Sandwich’s Grab & Go range, while also offering its recently launched office catering scheme, Click & Collect and exclusive Uber Eats delivery.
Sandwich Sandwich Mark Lane will open on 17 March.
