The room-booking platform helped address stress within the industry
Profitroom triumphed in a closely fought category for helping to develop tailored direct booking strategies for its hotel partners.
The direct booking platform has enhanced its booking engine to incorporate the likes of integrated cart abandonment, voucher tools, email marketing, loyalty and upselling within the online booking journey.
Education is central to Profitroom’s strategy and it hosts regular webinars addressing critical topics such as revenue management, guest engagement and digital marketing, focusing on industry trends.
A recent survey of more than 1,000 UK independent hotel managers revealed issues including a high burnout risk, with nearly 70% of hoteliers considering leaving their roles due to stress. In response, Profitroom introduced one-on-one therapy sessions and free expert advice, showcasing how its solutions benefit hotels without upfront costs, and tailoring its technology to individual hotel needs.
Following the survey, Profitroom’s findings also revealed a growing need for time-saving initiatives and support for hotel room booking technology. The company created more than 250 integrations with third-party providers, such as Trybe, ResDiary and TrustPayments, to offer a unified booking experience across all revenue streams and provide hoteliers with the freedom to select their preferred hotel partners.
Its achievements highlight Profitrooms’ ability to understand and drive measurable success for its partners and clients, making it a standout winner.
“Profitroom is a disrupter in the industry, saving time and money in hotel booking and reducing the reliance on online travel agencies.”
Martin MacPhail, HR director, RBH Hospitality Management
