Energy efficiency and a small footprint won this category

Foster’s victory in this category was largely down to its +stayclear condenser, which improves the efficiency of its refrigeration products.
Fitted at no extra cost, the +stayclear condenser unit reduces the amount of time operators need to spend maintaining a fridge or freezer, saving money by reducing the chance of breakdown.
The condenser is also proving its worth in Foster’s new EcoShow multideck display, which is designed to put grab-and-go products in the spotlight. The unit stores up to 884 cans without double stacking, and saves about 80% in energy consumption on previous models.
Over the past year Foster has also reinstated its SOS free next day delivery service, meaning equipment can be replaced urgently.
The manufacturer was lauded for working with key hospitality operators to support sustainability objectives. Foster and sister brand Gamko spent a year working alongside climate consultancy South Pole, undertaking a greenhouse gas scoping exercise to map its emissions and set science-based targets.
Foster’s commitments to continuous improvement across every element of its products and operations means it more than deserves its place as Refrigerator Brand of the Year.
“The +stayclear condenser is revolutionary and reduces energy usage, carbon footprint and maintenance, as well as improving the longevity of equipment.”
