The 81-bedroom property is the first hotel from international hospitality management company Kinsfolk & Co
The Newman, the first hotel from international hospitality management company Kinsfolk & Co, will open its doors in London’s Fitzrovia on 1 February 2026.
The 81-bedroom property will be led by general manager Oliver Milne-Watson, who will work closely with Kinsfolk & Co’s founder, Paul Brackley.
The Newman has been designed by London-based studio Lind + Almond, showcasing a contemporary Art Deco aesthetic taking inspiration from the neighbourhood’s bohemian residents.
The property also features a rooftop, a four-bedroom Penthouse Suite with its own terrace, sauna and ice plunge that can be hired for exclusive use, in addition to F&B outlets Brasserie Angelica and Gambit Bar.
The European all-day restaurant will serve a menu of classic comfort dishes, while the downstairs bar will be home to an in-house DJ, as well as regular chess nights.
Guests will also have access to a wellness floor consisting of a medical-grade halotherapy room, Ice Lounge, Finnish sauna and steam room, multi-sensory experience showers and a hydrotherapy plunge pool.
The Newman partnered with Saira Hospitality to create a pop-up hospitality school from which individuals with barriers to employment were supported into job opportunities.
Kinsfolk & Co was founded in May 2023 by Brackley, former managing director of Corbin & King’s Beaumont hotel in London’s Mayfair.
His team have worked for famed properties such as the Goring, Firmdale Hotels, the Standard and Milsom Hotels & Restaurants.
Opening rates at the Newman start from £695 per night.
