Choice Hotels International launches in Poland
Choice Hotels International, the global hotel group behind the Comfort, Quality, Clarion and Sleep Inn brands, has entered the Polish market with six new properties.
The new hotels are owned and managed by Poland's leading real estate developer Hotel System, a subsidiary of the Salwator Capital Group.
The flagship property is the 133-bedroom Clarion Hotel Grand Baltic Resort & Spa in the seaside town of Dźwirzyno, on the Baltic Sea. The other properties are Quality-branded hotels in Cracow, Posen, Kattowitz and Breslau.
"Our strong international expansion continues to be a key driver of Choice Hotels' future growth and the addition of the Polish market strengthens our network of hotels throughout Europe," said Stephen Joyce, president and chief executive of Choice Hotels International. "Choice continues to execute its strategic efforts on worldwide development and has identified Europe as a key market in achieving success."
Choice Hotels currently franchises more than 6,000 hotels worldwide, with nearly 500 hotels across Europe.
