Caterplan, the catering division of Unilever Bestfoods, has added three products to its Knorr Chef Creations range of frozen, individual-portion entrée dishes. They are Big Beef Stew, a mix of traditional meat and vegetables with a garnish of parsnips and carrots; Lamb Chump in Tomato and Honey, an unusual dish with a whole chump of lamb in a chunky tomato sauce finished with honey and garlic; and Beef Teriyaki, which is strips of beef in a teriyaki sauce garnished with sliced peppers, water chestnuts and spring onions.

 

The Knorr Chef Creations range is produced in sous-vide style and the individual plastic pouches can be regenerated by immersing them in hot water. Targeted at pubs, small restaurants and hotels, all three items come in cases of 10.
