Tender: catering partner for Sharpham Wines visitor centre

Sandridge Barton, an award-winning UK winery and home of Sharpham Wines, is looking for a catering partner for their new purpose-built visitor centre.

Nestled in the beautiful South Devon countryside, the award-winning Sandridge Barton winery is close to completing its new visitor centre, which will include a café/restaurant, retail space and events space. As a new development this is a turnkey opportunity with the investment into a state-of-the-art kitchen and interior-designed café already in place.

The visitor centre has been created within the traditional buildings of the historic Lower Well Farm, with the central courtyard providing an exceptional external seating area overlooking surrounding countryside, including a spring-fed tributary leading to the nearby River Dart.

We currently offer wine tours and wine tasting, which attract around 15,000 to 20,000 visitors each year, and we are certain the new visitor centre will increase these numbers.

The aim is to identify an operator that can deliver a catering service that will complement the award-wining wines and exceptional setting.

The opportunity includes:

• Exclusive operation of the on-site café, including seating for 45 indoors and 40 outdoors on the terrace.
• Operating hours from 10.30am to 5.30am up to seven days per week.
• Catering for events and hospitality in the visitor centre with a capacity in excess of 70 guests.
• Catering for overnight guests staying in the three existing estate holiday properties (22 bed spaces)
