Broadwick and Smart Group have joined forces to bolster the F&B offering across Broadwick’s suite of London venues
Broadwick and Smart Group have teamed up on the launch of a catering joint venture which will see Smart Group operate as the exclusive F&B partner across Broadwick’s London portfolio.
The new hospitality offering, set to launch this summer, aims to meet guest expectations for food, drink and service to match the quality of programming and production across Broadwick’s venues.
The operator hosts over 2,500 events per year across its stable of event venues including 26 Leake Street, Banking Hall, Broadwick Studio, Control Room A, Drumsheds, Exhibition White City, Landing Canary Wharf, Landing Forty Two, Magazine London, OXO2, The Pelligon and Troxy.
Broadwick and Smart Group have worked together since 2016. The joint venture between the two businesses will be a standalone firm with its own team operating independently from Smart Group’s Moving Venue and Last Supper brands.
Smart Group’s CEO Greg Lawson said: "Nearly a decade working with Broadwick has shown what’s possible when two teams share the same ambition for live experiences.
“A dedicated studio is the right structure to take that further, designing food, drink and service into the fabric of each venue from day one, at portfolio scale, and flexing across very different environments without losing consistency."
Broadwick CEO Simon Tracey added: "For a long time, hospitality in live environments has been fragmented, with different suppliers, different standards, and often brought in too late to really shape the experience. This is about changing that.
“By building a dedicated studio with Smart Group, we’re able to design hospitality into the fabric of each venue, not layer it on afterwards."
Smart Group’s Moving Venue won Event Caterer of the Year at the 2025 Foodservice Cateys.
