Each of the rooms takes its name from a river in Somerset
New images have been released of the four bedrooms at Merlin Labron-Johnson’s relocated Osip near Bruton, Somerset.

The rooms have been designed by Johnny Smith, creative director of restaurant group Smith & Willis, and feature exposed beams, oak floors and modern rustic interiors complete with rugs, stone and brass accents.

Each bedroom takes its name from a river in Somerset: Avon, Brue, Somer and Pitt.
The two duplex rooms – Avon and Brue – include freestanding bath tubs and additional living space split across the lower and mezzanine levels, while Somer and Pitt offer walk-in showers.

All of the rooms are fitted with toiletries from Maison Osip, made in partnership with Harvest.

Guests will be offered priority restaurant reservations for the night of their stay, as well as a complimentary breakfast offering inspired by traditional French auberges, featuring the likes of black cardamom buns, hay smoked trout and honey roast ham.

The Osip concierge team will also be on hand to ensure a smooth stay.
Labron-Johnson opened Osip in 2019 after launching London restaurants Portland and Clipstone. The original Osip received a Michelin star in 2021, followed by a Green Michelin star in 2023.

In 2024, Osip relocated to a larger freehold site with the support of Smith and Daniel Willis, who were behind London’s Luca and Clove Club restaurants.
The rooms at Osip are priced from £240 per night, including breakfast, and will open on 10 June.
