Forza Wine is set to open its first central London outpost and largest restaurant to date on March 2
Forza Wine will open a corner site in London’s Soho district on March 2.
The 100-cover restaurant will be located on Manette Street and offer a 70-cover outdoor space for guests.
The restaurant will be Forza Wine’s largest opening to date and will join its portfolio of branches in London’s Peckham and its South Bank National Theatre flagship.
The new opening will feature an expanded menu including new dishes including parmesan-laden brioche, as well as offering vermouth over ice and natural wines for £5 and £6 respectively.
Chef and co-founder Michael Lavery said: “I never thought we’d be lucky enough to have a Forza in Soho. It’s quite unbelievable, but it’s here, it’s massive, and it looks class. We want to be a meaningful, long-term part of the community. This is a restaurant for Soho and everyone who visits Soho – if we can win over the locals, I’m sure the rest will follow.”
Co-founder Bash Redford added: "We never considered Soho would have a space to fit our ’powerful buildings with outside space’ brief, but when we were offered a fully fitted space with a terrace, we had to have a look. We immediately fell in love and jumped at the challenge of bringing it to life whilst retaining as much of the existing fit-out as possible. It’s still got that Soho energy, just now with a Forza touch."
