Chefs Matt Abé, Ben Murphy and Clare Smyth all had restaurants join the guide’s listings
The Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland has added a further 24 new restaurants to its online listings this month.
This is the last release before the Michelin Guide Ceremony 2026, which will take place on Monday 9 February at the Convention Centre Dublin.
The guide updates its recommendations each month based on its inspectors’ travels, with any additions highlighted by a ‘New’ symbol.
It will not be confirmed if any of the restaurants will receive a further star, Bib Gourmand, or other award until the launch of the 2026 guide.
New additions include Bonheur by Matt Abé, which opened last autumn in the storied site of the two-Michelin-starred Le Gavroche in London’s Mayfair. Michelin praised the restaurant’s use of "the very best ingredients presented in expertly judged combinations”.
74 Charlotte Street by Ben Murphy, the latest from the former chef patron of Launceston Place, also made it onto the list after opening in October. The guide said the restaurant is “full of his usual passion and ambition, occupying a bright, modern space in the heart of foodie Fitzrovia”.
There was also recognition for Roam in Stoke Gabriel, Devon, for “serving the taste of the seasons”, and chef Stuart Ralston’s Parisian wine bar Vinette in Edinburgh.
In Wales, Bryn Williams at Theatre Clywyd scored a listing for showcasing Welsh produce with a “welcoming charm”.
Other new additions include Clare Smyth’s Corenucopia and Francesco Mazzei’s Mezzogiorno – both in London.
