Luxury holiday cabin operator Cabü to open its third outpost, facilitated by a loan from Zenzic Development Finance
Luxury holiday cabin operator Cabü has secured a £24m loan for the construction of a new resort in Oxfordshire.
Zenzic Development Finance, the residential development finance subsidiary of real estate credit investment firm Zenzic Capital, will fund Cabü’s third outpost, Cabü in the Cotswolds.
It comes as Cabü plans to deliver 10 schemes over the next five years.
The property will comprise 51 one, two and three-bedroom, self-catered eco-cabins alongside access to a range of amenities such as a nature spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, shop, restaurant, two bars and a studio events space.
The 25-acre woodland site is located on the eastern edge of the Cotswolds’ Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford.
The £24m loan will also support the development of eight new barn style houses and two restored loft houses on an adjacent site.
Cabü is owned and operated by London developers JP Ledwidge and Olivia Hutchinson.
JP Ledwidge of Cabü said: “We are delighted to have found such a great funder in Zenzic Development Finance where our values and business ethos are so well aligned. We can see our relationship growing to be able to deliver exceptional schemes and look forward to working with Zenzic on our pipeline sites that are currently at the detailed design stage.”
Its portfolio also consists of Cabü by the Sea in Kent and Cabü by the Lakes in County Caven, Ireland.
