Dubai-based Select Group has acquired three Delta Hotels by Marriott golf and country club resorts, expanding its UK portfolio.
The developer and investor has purchased Breadsall Priory in Derby, St Pierre in Chepstow and Tudor Park in Maidstone, bringing its UK golf resort platform to five properties.
The three properties comprise 380 keys and more than 900 acres of land.
The group’s portfolio also includes the Mere Golf resort and spa in Cheshire and Old Thorns hotel and resort in Hampshire.

The resorts will continue to be operated by Marriott International. Paul Thomas, vice president, development, at Marriott said: “We are delighted to work with Select Group as new owners of these three UK Delta Hotels by Marriott distinctive country clubs and golf resorts.

Select Group has said it will undertake a “considered programme of operational enhancement” with a focus on guest experience, leisure facilities, golf operations, events, wellness and long-term asset performance.
