The Belfry Hotel and Resort in Sutton Coldfield is set to open 149 bedrooms next month, in addition to a new fitness and leisure club.
The rooms are located within the hotel’s new wing, Brabazon House, which will launch on 1 August to bolster the property’s existing 300-bedroom offering.
Brabazon House will also include the Belfry’s first two-bedroom suite, comprising super king-sized beds, a balcony and views over its extensive golf course.
It comes amid the resort’s £80m expansion and renovation project, which was announced in April last year.
Later in August, the hotel will welcome an upgraded fitness and leisure club kitted out with Technogym equipment, as well as four studios offering yoga, reformer pilates and spin classes.
The club will also feature a lap pool, family-friendly swimming pool, sauna, steam room, bubble pools and a multi-purpose sports hall.
Katie Niland, commercial director at the Belfry Hotel and Resort, said: “These rooms offer the most breath-taking views across the golf course, and it’s such a joy to now share that experience with our guests. Paired with our warm welcome and the unforgettable atmosphere we’re known for, there’s no better place to create treasured summer memories.”
The Belfry Hotel and Resort also features the two-AA-rosette Ryder Restaurant and Brabazon Bar, a variety of meetings and events spaces, three golf courses and the Toptracer Driving Range.
The redevelopment has been in the works since Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Cedar Capital Partners bought the Belfry in 2021. The resort was previously owned by private equity firm KSL for almost a decade.
The Belfry’s managing director, Chris Eigelaar, was named Manager of the Year at the 2025 Cateys held last week.
