The 148-bedroom property has been put up for sale by owners AJ Capital
The Graduate by Hilton Cambridge has been put up for sale, attracting offers in excess of £65m.
The 148-bedroom property is located on the banks of the River Cam and completed a multimillion-pound refurbishment in 2021.
It also feature a fitness centre with swimming pool, more than 430 sqm of events space, a full-service restaurant, café and bar and 151 parking spaces.
The hotel is held on a long leasehold basis and is backed by Hilton, with the American multinational having acquired the university-themed brand in 2024 for £165m following an agreement with Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (AJ Capital).
At the time, this marked Hilton’s first brand acquisition since 1999.
Miles Auger, head of UK hotels at CBRE, who are marketing the property on behalf of AJ Capital, said: “Graduate Cambridge represents an opportunity to acquire a recently refurbished hotel in one of the UK’s most competitive and internationally recognised markets. Given Cambridge’s demand profile and limited future supply, we expect to see strong interest from domestic and global capital.”
AJ Capital acquired the Cambridge hotel from UK property company Ability Group in 2019 and relaunched this as Graduate Cambridge in 2021.
