Wilson Vale nets first stadium contract with Cambridge United Football Club

Wilson Vale has been chosen as Cambridge United Football Club's catering partner, operating all match-day and non-match day catering and events at the stadium for its 2021 season.

The scope of the £300,000 per annum contract includes providing catering and players and fans at the 8,000-capacity Abbey Stadium, as well as match day hospitality for the club's signature suite and executive lounge and event catering.

David Anderson, Wilson Vale operations director, said: "We are thrilled to be working with Cambridge United and are excited to be joining at such a progressive time for the club following their promotion into League One. This is our first contract gained in stadia catering, which gives us an opportunity to apply our knowledge and the talents of our colleagues in an exciting new sector."

Ian Mather, Cambridge United chief executive, said: "Wilson Vale have an outstanding reputation and we are delighted to be working with them. They operate to very high standards and our fans, corporate guests and those attending weekday conferences will enjoy some excellent food. Since their appointment they have been very active in getting us ready for the start of the season in League One."

Wilson Vale is a privately owned catering company working within the B&I, conferencing and independent schools sectors in the UK.
