Photos have been released showing the rebuilt exterior and bedrooms at Cameron House, which was extensively damaged in December 2017 in a fire that killed two people.
The hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond, West Dunbartonshire, is expected to reopen in late 2020 following a 'sensitive' renovation which will add four bedrooms to the hotel, taking the total to 140. The façade has been restored, however the severe damage to the internal structure meant much of it had to be taken down.
When it reopens, the property is expected to have an increased focus on meetings, conferences and events with eight event spaces with "state of the art facilities".
The Carrick Resort, which houses the clubhouse and spa and was undamaged, has already revealed a £2m upgrade, and the treatment rooms and spa facilities are also being upgraded.
