The 102-bedroom Bedford hotel is expected to open in 2025.
Focus Hotels has secured the management contract for the Bedford hotel in Belfast, which is due to open as a luxury property in 2025.
The independent hotel management company will be overseeing the launch of the hotel, which resides in Belfast’s Edwardian-style Scottish Mutual Building.
Martin Property Group submitted a planning application to convert the site into a 102-bedroom hotel with public bars and restaurants in February.
Paul Martin, a spokesperson for the Bedford hotel, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Focus Hotels to bring the Bedford hotel to Belfast’s evolving hospitality landscape. We greatly look forward to opening the hotel in 2025, guided by the expertise and insight of the Focus team.”
Devin Grosse, chief executive of Focus Hotels, added: “Securing the management contract for the Bedford hotel is a significant achievement for Focus Hotels. We are honoured to be part of this prestigious project and are committed to leveraging our expertise to craft an unparalleled guest experience. We look forward to contributing to the success of this iconic property.”
