Greg Hegarty named co-CEO of PPHE Hotel Group

Greg Hegarty has been appointed co-chief executive officer of PPHE Hotel Group with immediate effect.

Hegarty has almost 30 years' experience in hospitality and has been with PPHE for 18 years, having previously held positions such as chief operating officer and deputy chief executive officer.

In May 2023 he was appointed an executive director of the group and subsequently invited to the board.

Prior to joining PPHE, Hegarty held senior management roles at Clermont Hotel Group and RBH Hospitality Management.

Hegarty will work closely with Boris Ivesha, president and chief executive of PPHE, who will continue to be responsible for seeking development opportunities for the group.

Hegarty said: "I am delighted to have been appointed as co-chief executive and look forward to continuing to lead the group in its long-term strategic objectives. PPHE is in a very exciting phase of growth, building on its strong footprint of Park Plaza hotels while also completing and opening several large pipeline projects across capital cities including London, Belgrade, Berlin, Rome and across different market segments and brands including art'otel and Radisson Red."
