The events caterer will provide catering services for all hospitality events set in the historic building’s event spaces which include the Great Hall and the Hogarth Stairs
B Corp foodservice business Lettice Events has been appointed as the sole catering partner for Barts Heritage’s 18th-century North Wing at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London.
Lettice Events will provide catering services for corporate events, private parties and weddings set in the historic building’s event spaces which include the Great Hall and the Hogarth Stairs. It aims to curate bespoke menus that showcase seasonal, sustainable, and locally sourced ingredients.
Holly Congdon, managing director at Lettice Events, said: “We are honoured to be partnering with Barts Heritage as their exclusive caterer. This collaboration reflects our joint commitment to innovation and forward thinking, seamlessly blending Lettice’s modern, dynamic approach with the historic elegance of the venue.
“It marks a meaningful moment in the building’s storied history, creating a bridge between the past and the future. We look forward to delivering exceptional food and hospitality to clients and guests alike."
Will Palin, CEO at Barts Heritage added: “We are delighted to have appointed Lettice as exclusive catering partner for the North Wing. We will be reopening our beautiful Grade I listed building in October this year following a major, two-year restoration project and we are excited to be partnering with Lettice to deliver the events that match the quality of this unique City of London venue.”
The North Wing has undergone a restoration project and is set to reopen in Autumn 2025.
The event caterer was appointed accredited caterer at both the British Museum and Lancaster House in London earlier this year.
