Here are all the hospitality venues set to launch across the UK in July 2025
As the sun shines on July, the UK hospitality scene is ushering in a series of established brands ranging from Luke Farrell’s cult Chinese-Thai diner Speedboat Bar to Hackney favourite Ace Pizza – this time in London’s Victoria Park.
There’s also set to be a rooftop renaissance, with the London Hilton on Park Lane revamping its panoramic 28th floor with Fundamental Hospitality Group’s Shanghai-inspired restaurant and bar, while the Social Hub in Glasgow welcomes Mexican-American SíSí.

Luke Farrell is returning with a second iteration of his Chinatown favourite Speedboat Bar – this time at the Electric in London’s Notting Hill. The restaurant will be run in partnership with Soho House Group, which operates Electric Diner, and JKS Restaurants, a close collaborator with Farrell since 2021.

Rachel Jones is set to open her first bricks and mortar Ace Pizza restaurant in London’s Victoria Park. It comes seven years after she started the business in the kitchens of the Pembury Tavern in Hackney, which became famed for its signature 12-inch Neapolitan-New York-style pizzas.

The Salusbury in London’s Queen’s Park has reopened as a neighbourhood pub and dining room with executive chef Tarryn Bingle at the helm. Bingle has worked across Arbutus, the Michelin-starred La Trompette, the Rectory hotel and the Pem.

The team behind London restaurants Crispin and Bistro Freddie has launched all-day restaurant and bar Canal within guesthouse and lifestyle brand Mason & Fifth Westbourne Park. Offering a waterside terrace and bistro-style menu, the 70-cover diner is being led by general manager Sean Cooper and New York-born chef Adrian Hernandez Farina.

Ta’mini Lebanese Bakery, which was founded by husband-and-wife duo Ali and Nermin, is set to open its third site in London’s Kensington. It will serve the likes of freshly baked Arabic cookies, Manakish (Lebanese flat bread) and homemade chocolate and vanilla custard.

Glasgow’s Merchant City will be welcoming new rooftop bar SíSí. The 160-cover venue is located on the eighth floor of the Social Hub Glasgow in Candleriggs Square and comprises a 60-cover terrace offering sweeping views of the city, as well as an indoor lounge serving small plates, cocktails and live music.

UAE-based Fundamental Hospitality Group will be launching pan-Asian restaurant Shanghai Me and the 1930s Shanghai-inspired Bund Lounge on the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane. At Bund Lounge, each cocktail on the Lunar Antipodes drinks menu has been named after a sign of the zodiac, while dishes at Shanghai Me range from Vietnamese to Japanese cuisine.

Graham Rebak and Adam Wilkie will be launching their second outpost of Huŏ – originally from Chelsea – in London’s Belsize Village. Head chef Yam Gurung is offering a selection of dishes from China and Southeast Asia, ranging from crispy shredded chilli beef to triple cooked Dover sole with asparagus, garlic and chilli.

The Hoxton has made its long-awaited Scottish debut in Edinburgh as the open house hotel brand nears 20 sites. The 214-bedroom hotel is spread across 11 Georgian-inspired terraced townhouses and also features Italian trattoria Patatino, serving dishes such as deep fried spaghetti squares with tomato and spicy basil pesto and panettone pudding.

The team behind Wayland’s Yard in Worcester has launched café and community space Kyndfolk within Pump House in Gheluvelt Park. Offering 50 covers indoors, 44 in the courtyard and 36 in the shaded pergolas, the space serves a seasonal menu alongside its Odd Kin Coffee. An upstairs community room is also available for various classes such as pilates, yoga and wellbeing sessions.

Crust Bros has opened its flagship restaurant in London’s Covent Garden. The 135-cover diner is spread across two floors and offers a selection of sides alongside its classic pizza offering. Dough is made fresh on site each day and left to proof for up to 72 hours.
