Sircle Collection confirms UK hotel debut

Amsterdam-based Sircle Collection has confirmed it will be launching its first UK hotel, Sircle London, in late autumn.

The opening comes after The Caterer came across a letter to local residents at the Devonshire Square development close to London Liverpool Street Station from the chief executive of Sircle Collection last November.

He stated that the group was "in the process of bringing forward proposals" for an 80-bedroom hotel.

Sircle Collection has since outlined that the hotel will also feature the Cover members' club, a yoga studio and gym, a library, an outdoor botanical garden and Seven North restaurant, headed by Israeli chef Eyal Shani of Miznon.

The group will also be opening several new properties across Europe this year, including in Vienna, Amsterdam, Milan and Athens.

Founder of the Sircle Collection Liran Wizman said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be expanding further into Europe and at such a pivotal moment for Sircle Collection's evolution. It's always been a dream of ours to open a property in London and offer something compelling and distinctive to the city, as well as introduce London to the Cover, our global members' club."

Sircle Collection was founded in 2011 and currently runs 13 hotels in cities such as Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Barcelona and Ibiza. Its brands include Sir Hotels, Max Brown Hotels, Park Centraal Hotels.
