Carpigiani has been lauded for establishing itself as a strong contender within the UK drinks market.

Carpigiani is the UK supplier of frozen drink machines by V Air. Its latest model, the Smart+, creates slushies and frozen cocktails in alcoholic, non-alcoholic and dairy-based liquids. Judges were impressed that the space-saving appliance can be deployed both front and back of house, with its ventilation technology meaning multiple machines can be situated next to each other to maximise counter space.

The Smart+ features cyclic reverse functionality, which automatically reverses the direction of the bowl mixer every 10 minutes to ensure that frozen drinks are perfectly mixed without any clumps of frozen ice.

For larger venues, the Dream machine has a 25-litre volume capacity. Operators add liquids to the chamber and within 20 minutes the drink is churned to a slush consistency. The machine can be remotely controlled using an app, which allows operators to adjust working modes, product density and LED lighting.

In 2024 Carpigiani launched a Frozology Masterclass, offering operators and mixologists tips to put a twist on their drinks with support from dedicated ‘frozologists’.

Smart+ and Dream appliances are already being used in bars and pubs across the country, proving Carpigiani’s dedication to next-level cocktails.
