Daise by Tony Parkin will open early next year
Chef Tony Parkin has announced his first solo restaurant, which will open early next year.
In a post on Instagram, the chef said he and his wife Laura Parkin will open Daise by Tony Parkin early in 2026.
He said: “A small intimate space where I will be manning the stoves and Laura taking care of the more important stuff.
“More details will be released after the Christmas madness however I would just like to take this opportunity to thank my close friends that have been there for me this year I look forward to thanking you with dinner in the new year!”
The location of the restaurant is yet to be revealed.
Parkin started his career as an apprentice under John Campbell at the Vineyard hotel in Stockcross. He then moved to Copenhagen, where he worked for Michelin-starred kitchens at Kommandaten and Noma.
On his return to the UK, he undertook roles at Northcote, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and Adam Simmonds at Danesfield House, before becoming head chef at the Tudor Room in Great Fosters from 2019 to 2022, during which time it won a Michelin star.
He also spent a few months as head chef at the Brickmakers Arms in Surrey, before heading over to Ireland to take the role as chef patron at the Michelin-starred House restaurant at Cliff House hotel in Ardmore.
More recently, he was working with Aktar Islam at the two-Michelin-starred Opheem in Birmingham, before moving to work with Andrew Sheridan at the Open Restaurant Group (ORG) as development chef earlier this year.
