First look: Art'otel London Hoxton reveals opening date

The long-awaited Art'otel London Hoxton hotel is set to finally open on 24 April.

The hotel operates under the contemporary lifestyle brand owned by PPHE Hotel Group and has been in the making for over a decade. It was first granted planning permission in 2010, with initial plans to launch in 2012.

Axel Krueger was appointed general manager of the 357-bedroom new-build hotel last summer.

It will be the second Art'otel to open in the UK, following the launch of Art'otel London Battersea in February 2023.

The hotel will feature two original Banksy pieces and a 135 sq m art gallery open to local and emerging artists.

Guests can also make use of the all day café, lounge and cocktail bar, leisure facilities, a skyline gym on the 26th floor, and the hotel's Art'beat programme, which features culture and wellness activities.

Art'otel said further details of its destination restaurant on the 25th floor and its 300-capacity events space on the 24th floor would be announced later this year.

Rooms at Art'otel London Hoxton will start from £329 per night.

PPHE Hotel Group is an international hospitality real estate company with a £2.2b portfolio.
