The Milanese seafood restaurant group was due to make its UK debut back in 2023
Milanese seafood restaurant group Langosteria is finally set to make its UK debut within the OWO in London’s Whitehall this spring.
Founded by Enrico Buonocore in 2007, Langosteria Group already operates six restaurants across Italy, France and Switzerland.
The launch of Langosteria London was first announced back in June 2023 to coincide with the grand opening of Raffles London at the OWO and the rest of the OWO F&B development, which took place in September that year.
Langosteria London has been positioned as a fine dining restaurant with Italian roots, serving dishes such as red tuna carpaccio; spaghetti, clams and sea urchins, and codfish and sage tempura.
An Oyster Bar and robata section serving the likes of black grouper chateaubriand will also be available.
Head of operations Michele Bassoni will look to add extra dishes exclusive to the restaurant’s London outpost.
Meanwhile, Valentina Bertini, corporate wine manager for Langosteria group, has created an extensive wine list starring both well-known and niche labels.
Langosteria London is a new addition to the OWO complex, which is home to nine restaurants and three bars, among them Paper Moon and Café Ciel, which took over the site of Café Laperouse last August.
A private dining room for 18 people will also be available at Langosteria London.
