The London site will feature mirrored ceilings and a glowing wall of over 250 mezcals and tequila
A Parisian restaurant group known for its Latin American dining and bold interiors is set to cross the Channel to launch its first London restaurant next month.
Tigermilk, which has ten restaurants in France and Belgium, will open at 127 Charing Cross Road on 12 June.
Its concept is described as a “love letter to Latin America” that is “not authentic, not traditional, just full of life”.
Restaurateurs Nina and Alexis Melikov founded the brand in 2019, and it now welcomes over 3,500 daily diners across Paris, Bordeux, Lille, Lyon, Nice, Marseille and Brussels.
Tigermilk’s first London location will seat 138 diners and feature white and red marble floors, mirrored ceilings, tropical plants, a large open kitchen and a glowing wall of over 250 mezcals and tequila.
The menu will feature a chipotle-marinated T-bone steak; cochinita pibil tacos; fresh dorade ceviche with strawberries; and guacamole made tableside.
Desserts will include a maracuyá tiramisu, made up of four layers of passionfruit and cream, as well as dulce de leche cheesecake.
Details of the London menu prices have yet to be revealed, but a press announcement said they would be "shockingly gentle".
